Count a success see maps and see initial report for short summary, approximately 300 sites surveyed. Surveys can now be made any night where the temperatures are above 60 degrees, use Instructions and please note the new email for sending in data is cricket_crawl@yahoo.com

An aural expedition and a celebration of life in the leafy jungles of urban and suburban NYC and surrounding area

The survey was completed on the 12th of September, 2009. Data are now being processed and by the end of the week should be largely complete. A longer report will be created in the next few weeks that lists what went well and what needs to be improved for next time along with a more complete portrayal of the results. We are encouraging other groups to do similar surveys in their towns, cities, parks, counties, states, and provinces.
